August 22, 20205 yr Am I just imagining things or have there not been videos/images of the cockpit sun shades actually being used to block out the sun glare? I've tried both C152 and C172 clicking everywhere around them and can't find a way to get them to move. Searched the mappings for 'visor' 'sun' 'shade' - made sure the filter was set to 'ALL' - nothing! This would be a hilariously odd thing they took out of their pre-release builds! August 24, 20205 yr Author I guess this isn't a thing in the current version. But can anyone else confirm they've seen the shades being used in promo images/videos? Haven't taken the time to hunt down any proof of whether my memory serves me correctly. If so I'll log it to zendesk Drew Sikora Staff Blog Founder/Designer, MSE Airports
October 2, 20205 yr I'd like to know as well.....I hate having those visors down when there's no real reason for them being down (or up)
October 3, 20205 yr It might come in future patches. The ability is there for movable visors, opening doors etc. Asobo have not put that functionality into any default aircraft as of yet though. Some “payware” aircraft will no doubt include these features. October 3, 20205 yr I purchased the Carenado Mooney M20R from the Marketplace and it does allow you to open the cabin doors, pilot window, and move the sunshades. So, it is possible. Hopefully, Asobo at some point will enable similar animations for the default aircraft.
October 3, 20205 yr The videos you have seen might have been the two Carenado add ons. The visors work in those things. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
