August 23, 20205 yr Does the sim rate work for anyone else? When I press r and + or - it does nothing. I've also double checked the mapping of the function.
August 23, 20205 yr You can assign different keys to increase/decrease sim rate. I just can't figured out when I'm again on normal sim rate, missing something like those red lines like FSX 1pc:WIN11/64, MSFS,BATC,TRacKir5,SPAD Next,FSUIPC 7,GSX I7-12700KF/64Gb DDR4 3600MHz/ASUS TUF 4070 TI SUPER /GEKOGS105/Alpha Flight Control/CH throttle,Ped/SAITEK InstR/Radio Panel 2pc:WIN10 LNM
August 23, 20205 yr You have to map r+ some other keys for simulation rate increase or decrease, but it misses a normal speed key and an indicator, i evaluate the speed based on the plane's clock. Very weird that they don't have some sort of display to show that you're back to 1x time again.

Public beta, I prefer it like this than having to wait 1+years to be ready though R5 3600 - GTX 1070OC - 32GB 3200 - NVME - 3440x1440 160Hz - VR(Quest 2) GarbagePoster™
August 24, 20205 yr Author Any other ideas how this can be done? I don't have the ability to map the two functions separately. Having to make the flights in real-time is pretty boring.

August 24, 20205 yr Author But would you not still have to have separate assignments available? I just have the one marked as sim rate.

But you have separate assignments, just type for "rate" On the search box 1pc:WIN11/64, MSFS,BATC,TRacKir5,SPAD Next,FSUIPC 7,GSX I7-12700KF/64Gb DDR4 3600MHz/ASUS TUF 4070 TI SUPER /GEKOGS105/Alpha Flight Control/CH throttle,Ped/SAITEK InstR/Radio Panel 2pc:WIN10 LNM
August 24, 20205 yr I setup mine as R and + for increase rate, and R and - for decrease rate. Like others have mentioned, I use the clock as a guide. Another tip/trick would be to press your decrease rate multiple times, as the slowest rate you can go to is .25 speed. Then press your increase rate twice from there to get to normal speed. You can also select the "Travel to" option from the drop down menu which will fast-forward you to that point of the flight in between load screens.
August 24, 20205 yr Yes, on screen display of current speed other than 1x should mandatory and has been in every other flight sim I’ve played! Chris Camp
