In my ongoing trip to Sydney paying extremely rough homage to the 1969 Air Race, I decided that I should reposition to Dubai because trying to get to Karachi would no doubt leave me a bit short in the avgas department. The real Islanders had ferry tanks as you all know. Not too many pics as I just flew almost direct to Dubai down the Persian Gulf. A bit of haze moving over OKBK Miles of water to go... Dodging some building thunder clouds to relieve the tedium! Visual for RWY12L OMDB Down she goes. Maybe an iced tea rather than getting the kettle on perhaps?
