The problem is, that if feels like, what's mostly comes out of AVSIM is not critique, but mainly rant, which doesn't server anything, other than feedlng the 'frenzy-troll' and creating a hostile atmosphere in here. Just my opinion, of course... Edited August 31, 20205 yr by travelabroad 🙂
August 31, 20205 yr I *like* MSFS and I have no problems whatsoever thinking of it as a beta. It allows me to approach problems in a much different manner than I would for what is supposed to be a mature finished product. If I see something obviously wrong, I can describe it without ranting or bashing the sim, or insulting the developers, and it is likely to be fixed. After all, isn't that exactly what "minimum viable product" really means? It's a beta. I have no problems with that. What is a beta? Typically it means a product that is feature complete, but not all features are working as intended. Is it ok to sell a beta product? Well, in today's environment, with continuous updates via the Internet, it may be. People have the option of participating now or waiting for the product to mature, and I like having that option. The only time this would be a problem is if the development was not going to continue, and I don't think that's going to happen in this case. Right now, for me, the good far outweighs the bad, and I'm about to shut down my browser and go flying. Hook Larry Hookins Oh!
