September 2, 20205 yr This radial flickering image appeared in the Welcome screen and doesn't go away despite a reboot. I don't recall making any changes to anything but it appeared this morning right out of the blue. What is it, and how do I get rid of it? Could be this: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1038250/
September 2, 20205 yr Author Nope, it's an MSI mobo, and I've done about 8 flights now in MSFS and haven't seen this--just showed up uninvited this morning. That definitely could be the type of overlay described in the video above. I thought when I was looking at it that it might be responding to audio. Thanks for that it gives me a clue of where to look. September 2, 20205 yr It's the CD you have to insert in the dashboard slot of your aeroplane in order for it to verify you have a genuine aeroplane made by the original factory and not a knock off copy of the aeroplane made in Taiwan. 🤣 Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Turned out disabling the NVIDIA audio driver got rid of it. It's an MSI board w/ realtek software.
