September 2, 20205 yr I learned about Insert and End keys, and programming views using ctrl-alt-1 thru 10, but for the life of me I just want a ZOOMABLE top-down view and forward view is all. Also, for external view is there a way to toggle off the HUD overlays? September 2, 20205 yr Can't you just use the drone camera, move it slightly in front of the aircraft?

September 2, 20205 yr Author Thanks. As long as we're here, is there a way to change the TIME, or AIRPORT, etc without going the the Main Screen? Is there such thing as a 'fly-by' camera we're all used to? I'm having trouble w/ the learning curve quite obviously. I need to read something about using the drone camera. To change time, hover the mouse at the top of the screen to get the menu bar, and select the weather (cloud) icon. There's a time slider there. I can't recall about airports, but if you enable Developer Mode in the options, you'll find a small set of menus at the upper left corner. Under "Windows" there is one for choosing aircraft model without going back to the main menus (drag it from the lower right to expand the menu). There might be one for choosing airport too but I'm away from my flying computer and can't check. Edit to add: Yes, there is a "Teleport" window in the Developer Mode menu where you can type in an ICAO code or Lat/Long location. I did not know you could hover the house to bring up a menu bar! There are a couple of counterintuitive things, like setting flight level in the NAV button screen, and as you mention finding a 'time slider' in the weather icon, etc that are just different from we're used to.
