That CPU was a beast, it outlived the expectations, easily overlclocked to at least 4.2mhz with no major tweaking and still holds its own in some degree. I retired my 2600k just over a year ago for a 9900k just because I was getting antsy but that stupid CPU still held its own till the very last shutdown..
