September 11, 20205 yr Would love to see someone bring the Constellation to the sim. Flying low and relativity fast dodging weather and ice. That plane would really use the strong points of the sim. I have my wallet out....come on A2A.

My favorite was developed by this entity as they rehabilitated a Super Connie at Camarillo, California, in 2002 through 2004. It was developed for FS9 and was absolutely perfect. The programmers who were part of the SCFA organization began work to bring it forward into FSX but were cut short so it never was completed. I have a full copy somewhere of the FS9 version but never found out how to convert it from FS9 to FSX. It was and perhaps still is a interesting story. I believe it is still being flown to shows and exhibits in Europe. One of my associates and I traveled from Orange County to Camarillo and met the crew, who was at the time getting type certified and getting the Connie through airworthiness certification. My avatar at the left is of my associate and I sitting in the cockpit that day. I am in the left seat. http://www.conniesurvivors.com/1-scfa_connie.htm But a fresh web search tells a sad story. September 11, 20205 yr Especially the L-1049C. With the sound mod, those Wright Cyclones rev'd up. Pumping through my Yamaha 5.1 A/V receiver & sub-woofer, cranked! Man, that was awesome!!! September 11, 20205 yr Author I had the A2A version in FSX and just starting the engines was a thrill and an accomplishment. I also have a sub and a 5.1 system in my simming cave. The sound is awesome.
