I am using the liveriesmegapack.  All I can guess is that the folder structure used by the pack you have is different.  Here is what this pack's structure looks like.  The individual livery folders are in the liveriesmegapack folder that you see and the .exe is also in that liveriesmegapack folder.  Each livery then has this structure beneath it.  Does yours have the same number of folder levels?
 

Negative - just a bunch of asobo_xxxx folders with the SimObjects structure below that.. I'll look for the Liveriesmegapack. It looks like I am using Version X. Google has V6,7,8.

 

edit: yup! that did it. Was using the latest megapack linked above and it's a different format. 🙂
