It has been more than a decade that we have had the likes of 'people flow' and 'nature flow' from Orbx but yet neither exist in MSFS sceneries they have so far released. It's the same with other details such as water puddles cannot be implemented on the ground scenery and issues with jetways in some scenery not working, or problems with terminal glass windows displaying in a weird way when it rains. This is one of the reasons why I won't be buying addon airports for a long time. The second reason is that the default airports, even the ones not handcrafted, are quite good and perfectly adequate for starting an aircraft, taxiing out to the active and taking off, and vice versa. After all, why the hell would you spend more time than necessary at an airport. Most of them are hell holes in real life anyways. I find it funny that all these previews show the terminal interiors, the parking lots, etc. Who cares? I'm not spending any time in an empty terminal. Would be different if this were an airport simulator. I consider most of the "quick releases" we see now a somewhat desperate grab at revenue. Understandably, addon developers are nervous about their prospects. Might as well make a few bucks. Think about it: we are now asking whether or not an addon is as good as the default. This question would have been unthinkable in the halcyon days of P3D and FSX. Even the lousiest scenery addon was better than the default. This is a major paradigm word not allowed that probably blindsided developers. Edited September 24, 20205 yr by Ricardo41

They "might" and only might, buy their own local city airport if they are lucky enough to live near an addon, but that is about the only airport they will likely ever buy.
