A320 mod AP possible fix

Featured Replies

Just read this and makes sense maybe it will help others

As many of us are aware or have experienced the lnav or autopilot not following path, I think I found a possible workaround for the a320 and 787! First have your VFR maps on before flight , 2nd adjust your dead zone settings in controls to about 5 percent instead of zero . I have tested this multiple times and the aircraft seems to follow the flight plans . This is a sensitivity bug or issue I believe. Please give it a shot and send your findings . So far this is working for me very well . So far. I can’t guarantee anything but it’s worth a try my fellow pilots !

Anyone remember control spikes? I guess the 5% dead zone would eliminate those.

So is it possible the work done on the sensitivity settings in the recent update  created an upstream issue?
