October 3, 20205 yr I have tried searching for a couple of friends after they gave me their ms names but the search engine doesn't find them. Do they have to be on the same server as I'm on? I assume once they are added they would be saved somehow in my list but I can't seem to add them at all. What am I missing?
October 3, 20205 yr I think you want their XBox Gamertag, which may very well be different from their ms names. For instance my ID in MFS is my XBox tag "The Stoopy", but my msnane is the email account name for outlook.com which is linked as the entry point to my MS account.
