  1. Ed, I experienced this a couple of times and this is how I fixed it on my system. Sort your community folder by date modified and start with the latest added and work backwards. Look in each add on for a "airport services" folder and delete it. After each deletion restart the sim and see if your default ground assets have returned. If not continue to the next add on and repeat. Good luck.
  2. 27 days and counting and still no update in the marketplace. If given other options, I will never use the MP again.

  4. When I purchase and install MSFS 2024 later next month I'm looking for advice on how to proceed. I currently have MSFS 2020 (store) installed to a 1TB nvme. Since I don't want to run both, I would like to uninstall it and put MSFS 2024 on that same drive. Is it as simple as uninstalling through Windows? What other MSFS 2020 files should be removed before installing MSFS 2024?
  5. I lifted my PC up, turned it upside down, and now I'm able to log in.
  6. Where do you recommend we set the traffic slider for “ ships and ferries”?
  7. Thanks for the replies. So, OzWhitey, am I to understand that you installed it into v2.5, using the current installer, without any errors or issues?
  8. If I purchase the current product can I install it in the current version of P3D (2.5) without issues?
  9. A prominent feature on this aircraft is the portside cockpit window, which pilots will usually open and lock when at the ramp. Is this featured? I don't see it in the open position in any of the pictures or videos?
  10. Are there darker cloud packages within ASN that I could select?
  11. The way thunderstorm clouds are depicted appears too light to me. When they occur in real life they are sometimes very dark. Just an observation. Love the program, by the way.
  12. Do you have any other controllers plugged in?
  13. Anybody successful doing this?
  14. Cessna 402C please...
  15. I had the same problem. The xgauge wizard doesn't appear to work with that aircraft. I was able to go in and edit the panel config manually and get the gauge to appear.
  16. What about a Beaver float plane?
  17. At least, the initial offering (Hawaii) will be provided for free. This will give everyone a chance to take a good look at the new graphics and other features and make a judgement on whether or not its something they want to invest further in. Who knows,it may be so impressive, and the additional content so enticing that it'll catch on. And if not, we uninstall it and move on.
  18. I hear the Hawaii Tourism Bureau has rented the booth next to Microsoft.
  19. I've read the documentation and realize there is quite a bit to explore here, but I was wondering if there are a few settings you would recommend for flying lower altitude GA aircraft as opposed to the airliners. Then also the settings recommended for the airliners. I'm talking mainly about the settings in the wx options tab. Depiction mode, cloud and visibilty options, etc. My goal is to have the most realistic experience possible. Is it possible, then to save the two profiles and call them up as needed?thankssteve
  20. I was hoping that someone out there had heard some news "officially" regarding the status of AFS 2012 and perhaps provide a link to that info. I didn't expect this to become another "hawaii or not hawaii" thread.
  21. Mark II, do you remember where you read it?
  22. I've been to the Aerosoft forums and can't find any mention of their flight simulator project. Has anybody heard anything about its status? Has it been officially abandoned?
  23. Hi Damian, that's great news, sort of. I just purchased ASE yesterday. No regrets, because its a great product but I wish I had known this for I would have held off for the newer version.
  24. I searched for the answer to this question before posting so I apology in advance if I missed it. I'm attempting to get FDSFX to work with FSX and have installed according to the instructions. When editing the panel.cfg I add a new Window entry to the next available number, which in the case of all the FSX aircraft is 10 or above. My question is, when I'm in game, how do I access a window11 (for example) when shift+9 is the highest I can go? Here is my AirbusA321 panel.cfg. // Panel Configuration file// Airbus A321// Copyright © 1999-2003 Microsoft Corporation. 25. I would also love to see the Cessna 402C. It not only makes for a great GA aircraft but can also be used in virtual airlines. The Flight1 Cessna 421 was an acceptable substitute in FS9 but its not available for FSX.
