Marketplace payment failure continues

Hi,

I am still unable to buy anything from the Marketplace...constant payment failures (even though Microsoft Store is still processing other things outside of MSFS fine).

Tried running through XBox app, keeping MS Store logged in, all totally up to date, no problems with a conflict in countries...just fails everytime, straight away. I can buy and install free addons.

Tried the Zendesk but unfortunately they're more than zen, they're practically asleep and they were no hope.

Can anyone help??

Thanks

Ben

I have had the same issues.  I tried all the things.  But I apparently did not try one: ENABLE UAC.  My User Account Control was disabled.  Try enabling it then buying

There is a routine I saw here on Avsim yesterday about issues caused by concurrent logins to multiple Microsoft sites using multiple Microsoft ID's/PW's.  Cannot ID the post right now.  The cure was a sequence of signing out of MS sites, then logging back in, I believe with one common account, the account used for MSFS.  There appeared to be a defined sequence to the cure so recommend hunting it down and trying it.

AH.  Seems unrelated by exact description, but worth a try.

Thank you so much!! You have solved the problem I've had since MSFS was launched. Thank you for taking the time to help me, it is so appreciated.

For anyone having similar problems...Ryan is your man!!

Thank you again! Ben

I'm happy it worked for you.  I was surprised to see that enabling something was the issue.  And, as I highly dislike UAC, I can simply disable it after purchase and everything is back to the way I want it.

I wonder if this would work for purchasing the game also... As I still cannot even download the game/sim. You would think a software company would have this stuff figured out by now...
