Bonanza G36 no oil pressure

Featured Replies

I have browsed and browsed and do not see this mentioned.  My Bonanza G36, both with and without any performance mods, shows zero oil pressure, the indication blinks, and RPM stays pegged at zero.  I removed the Robert Young mod and the issue persists.  I also have the Working Title G1000 mod v3.1 installed.

Anyone else face this issue?  Any known fix?  I have checked the 172 and 208 and the issue is only with the Bonanza.

Just double checked mine , I use Robert Young's mod and the G1000 mod - all working as expected, pointers moving up and down.

I have it happening even without the Young mod.  Have not removed the G1000 mod.  May try that.

Maybe a non related mod is interfering. That's the big issue with all this community made stuff. Some are just making quick fixes w/o being aware of possible side effects. If you haven't already, disable all things in community folder except the Turbo mod and the g1000 and see what happens.

Removing the Working Title G1000 mod eliminated the issue.  Oil pressure and RPM both working normally again.

So now I need to hunt it down and download a fresh copy of the G1000 mod.  Looking at what I am finding is a bit confusing.    In one place I am finding 3.1 and in another it is V2 and yet another is 0.3.1, and another reference is 1.9.3.0.  What the heck!  Can you provide the version number and date of the most recent release of the WT mod and the most reliable DL site?

OK. Got it sorted out.  Removed the G36 performance mod. Still had the issue.  Removed the G1000 mod.  Still had issue.  Removed an additional livery pack, I believe an extract from a mega livery series.  G36 back to normal.  Reinstalled the G1000 mod.  Good.  Then installed the performance mod.  Still good.  Reinstalled that other livery pack.  Exact problem returned.  Removed that livery pack.  Problem still there.  #$%^%%$#@ !

Removed all mods again.  Back to normal. Reinstalled the G1000 mod, then the performance mod.  Good!  That other livery pack went the recycle bin.

Thanks Vic for helping confirm the two mods were good together.  Pointed me in the right direction.

I'm really nervous about how we are going to manage this community folder stuff long term, with how easy it is for mods to step on each other.

They will probably have to introduce a system like what's used in American Truck Sim where depending on the order in which the mods are layered, determines priority.

Seems to me these mega pack liveries are a common cause of issues. Download quality Ultra res liveries that you actually want and stay away from "mega packs".
