October 18, 20205 yr In addition to a visual indication, most autopilot systems provide an audible warning sound when the autopilot is turned off or goes off for some other reason. I am not hearing any such AP Off warning with either the G3000 mod in the TBM 930, or the G1000 mod in the Bonanza G36 Turbo. So I would like to determine if in fact there is no warning sound provided by the sim, or if I have some kind of sound bug in my setup. If you do hear an AP Off warning sound, I'd appreciate knowing what AP and what a/c. Thanks, Al Edited October 18, 20205 yr by ark
October 18, 20205 yr I hear it fine in the A320, but then I'm using the FlyByWire mod. I'll try it with other aircraft and report back. Edited October 18, 20205 yr by Adamski_NZ

Was this AP warning with the steam gauge or G1000 172, or both? If the latter, was it with the default G1000 or a G1000 mod? Thx, Al Edited October 18, 20205 yr by ark

There is a warning sound if you *engage* the autopilot without the yaw damper on, but I have never heard it give an autopilot disconnect warning.
