October 19, 20205 yr Yesterday I completed a Lower 48 States cross country flight which consisted of a touch n go or a full stop in each of the 48 states. My Human copilot and I departed from California on 10/12 and flew around 7300 miles. Mostly in the Cessna Caravan however my human was getting impatient and we eventually bought a TBM 930 to do the western states. I wish I could plug all my way points in to LittleNavMap and show you the route we took but because it like to place closest destinations first and not necessary in he order u want it would not make sense. As Far as we know we are the first Cat and Human to do a Lower 48 CC flight in MSFS 2020 and thus we claim Firsties !!! Now we are preparing to fly north to AK and maybe Hawaii..
October 19, 20205 yr My ONLY question....have they solved the cat urine inflight disposal system yet? (Us humans get a modified 2 qt milk jug) Or.....do you have a litter box in the back of the plane? 🤣 And the question begging to be asked....does your human have to clean the clumps, or do you get the poor rampies to do it? Cat flying thru the lower 48? Pfft.....we want to know the REAL litterbox stories! 🙂 I guess congrats just the same though....pretty impressive feat! Speaking of feet...I wanna' see your contraption for dancing on the rudder pedals. You obviously can't step on them and man catnipulate the yoke at the same time! October 19, 20205 yr Author well as far as litter,,, plenty of space in both planes for litter boxes,,,we emptied the boxes ourselves from altitude over rural areas or bodies of water.. as far as the rudders my human would do the rudders while i used the yoke and sometimes adjusted the power..but my human did do alot of the flying because I napped alot. meow meow Edited October 19, 20205 yr by AmeliaCat no meow

What i do is have one flight plan where i keep adding legs to it, so overtime it grows into the route for my World Tour. And when i fly something unrelated to the world tour, i obviously load a new plan. And im not sure that was your issue, but if you highlight a waypoint on the list, you can use Ctrl+Arrow Up (or Down), to place that waypoint anywhere you like on the flightplan. So far, the WT is going great (Bonanza and Mooney), but for legs over the ocean, i feel safer in the CJ4 😄 My god the world is a beautiful place, leaving the Canarias island was just one of the best flights i've ever had. Good luck on your adventure little pussy (<----woops, ...sorry 😄 ) Edited October 19, 20205 yr by leprechaunlive
October 19, 20205 yr Author maybe if i added to it after each leg it would not have been an issue,, But because of the way some states are laid lout , I would have to go north then back south or east then west etc tec.. so my route would be sort of a u-turn in some spots.. and so in that 'U' both LNM and MSFS would connect the beginning and end of the route together as the first leg because they were the closest . In spots where i was consistently going in the same direction it wasnt an issue.

And did you know you can have your map look like that ? Its a mod that lets you display the US VFR charts (sectionals) insinde LNM. Its amazing.
October 19, 20205 yr I have to admit that I love LNM, but find it almost so feature-laden as to overwhelm me a bit. Love how you're using it @leprechaunlive on your world tour.....need to spend some time learning it when I embark on mine one of these days. Will check out the mod you mention for sure! Thanks for the heads up. Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

Thanks for the heads up. It can be at first, but i use maybe 1/4 of the features it has. It is an amazing piece of freeware. The mod comes withs Google Maps, Google Sat, OpenStreep Map, Open Street Topo, US sectionals, US IFR Low and High, US Helicopters Routes, And a boatload of other kind of maps for a few countries. Im telling you, i cant wrap my head around how amazing some creators are.

Exactly something like LNM should be included with MSFS and not that little stupid VFR map or main flight plan page,,, Both of those are jokes,,how they hell u supossed to plan a flight with all that blurryness and bad zoom features.

Do people actually use the default "VFR map" ? opened it once, then closed it forever.
