Thanks for sharing. It's amazing which add-ons MSFS initiated. As far as I read, this can't be running on a networked machine right now which I would prefer, less because of the resources it consumes but because it blocks view onto the scenery/panel.

But given it's simconnect-based and runs in a browser, I would expect this can be done, wouldn't it?

The github is missing some files. There is no bin folder and there is no FsWebService.exe according to the doc. Unless I am missing something?

Good  for  sharing  but  for  those  that have  navigraph  charts have this  function  already  which has  more  features  and  can  have  running  on a  different screen

once it runs on Firefox on a networked pc I would use it. otherwise:littlenavmap does all that already, and there are free VFR/IFR maps available for littlenavmap, no airport diagrams though, unfortunately.

Fltplan.com and their tablet app FltPlan Go have offered this for several years with map selections that in addition to Sectionals includes Lo Alt, and Hi Alt charts, as well as offer street map and topographical map options; IFR procedures; weather including live radar, satellite, and winds aloft.

I note a Layers icon in the top border menu.  Are IFR map layers available, such as High and Low enroute maps?  And the import and export of flight plans mentioned, are those to be routines for .pln files or .flt files?

sure, check it out:

skyvector.com

and has several weather overlays, and TFRs for the US. unfortunately no geo-referenced airport diagrams.
