This is the most important one... what's it say on this panel?

That setting is the one that counts.

Hi Bryan,

Working like a charm now. Thanks a lot!

Great to have voice control back in the Sim! Looking forward to the A320 F/O being voice-controlled as well.

Best regards,
Stefan

That warning message you're getting can also be triggered if you have a fault in your speech recognition engine.

Ensure you don't have any of these programs running on your system; we know from experience with FS2Crew they can cause problems with 3rd party speech recognition.

Uninstall Asus Sonic Studio, Asus Sonic Radar and Asus Studio 3 if you have them installed.  You don't need their bloatware. That solved it for one user.  Another user had an audio program called Nahimic running on his laptop.  Uninstall it.

I have the same Problem and I have Nahimic running on my System. But it gets automatically installed with the Realtec Audio Drivers. I can't find a way to deinstall Nahimic
without loosing my Sound. Any ideas? thanks

You may have to research it a bit.
I found this:

I could not deinstall the driver. every time I deinstalled everything it came back after reboot. But It worked for me to just deaktivate the driver "nahimic mirroring device" at the
Device Manager. Now Voice recognition works,

Glad to hear that worked for you 😉

Hello,

since today I have the same issue.
My Windows 10 language is english US, Speech language is English US, everything is English US.
After checking all the languages settings, I saw that in the Speech settings (not the advanced speec recognition settings), French is available in the list but NOT selected.

I do not have the ASUS tools that I already removed in the past as they were causing issues...

Thanks in advance for your help !

Moun.

Since today, so it just happened out of the blue? It worked before?

It worked before from when I acquired it to yesterday.
Advanced speech options -> language set to Microsoft speech Recognizer 8.0 for Windows (English - US), no other language option to choose from.
One profile: Default speech profile
Pushback express languages set to US, US
All ASUS tools uninstalled since day one as they were causing issues.

Thanks for your help !

If it worked before, something changed on your system.

Double check your headset setup.  Run the voice training again.

Don't forget to use the Push To Talk key.

Everything has been checked many times and all other voice recognition work on other fs2crew products.
And of course I am pressing on the C key while not having focus and the Tx is displayed.
I have the error message about the language which is by the way incorrect as all my language settings match.

I have reverted to buttons controls unfortunately.

And you get the error message?

Can you take a screenshot, or maybe write down what exactly does the error message says?, I just want to see the error code number that it's showing, maybe with that piece of information we can maybe pin point what's exactly the issue in your machine.

Regards,

Manuel

I followed your method, but even if my computer language is changed from Chinese to English (UK), and I select UK in the software, the software still does not respond.

Send us a screen shot of where you set it to UK.

Also see the other post regarding Nahmic and Sound Studio... ensure they're not on your computer.
