Blurry cockpit in Update 5?

Blurry for me too.  Have to zoom right in on the buttons and only then labels become sharp.

No problems before the patch, didn't adjust any external settings -> patch did change something.

Might be a simple fix, but change wasn't done by me.  Will investigate later and will report if I was able to resolve.

Running a 2060 super at 1440p resolution.

Thanks, please consider reporting to zendesk also!

Will do.

Curious if those with cockpit blur also experience floating lights?  And also: if those without blur don't see the floating lights.

I see them 😄

Make sure Nvidia ge is not optimizing the sim and turning all the settings down

Spent an evening tinkering with Nvidia settings, updated drivers, updated Windows, multiple in-game setting changes, restarting the sim after each change.  Still no luck.  The G1000 button labels are blurry until zoomed in closer.

At this point I'm resigning until next updates.

I installed the latest Nvidia driver but the blurriness is still there.

Response to my Zendesk ticket:

Hello, I hope you are well. Yes, it is a problem of the new update, I do not understand why some are still clinging to that it is an external problem to the update but hey, let’s hope they fix it soon. Cheers

Strange.  The instruments are sharper than ever for me after this update with the new TAA.  I just cannot understand why this sim is so different on so many peoples systems.

Also, is that a real response to a zendesk ticket above?  The way it is phrased seems a bit unusual to me.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Copy, paste in its entirety.

Thought about revising my post not to include the whole text but didn't in the end.

Happy I received a response in less than 12 hours.  I'm assuming it was written by a screener who has many tickets to address.  Came out a little non-diplomatic, but I have no issue with that.  It was written hastily and honestly.

Don't want to be dumping on the dev team - they're trying to bake bread after it's been taken out of the oven prematurely.

The response shows how one's situation gives a different perspective on an issue: ie. "of course we know it was caused by the update".  The thing is users don't know you know (unless it's been noted somehwere I haven't seen).

If anything, my "debugging" session got me to update drivers, Windows, learned about settings. All good.

Thanks for the response. 👍  Yes, the zendesk response just seemed a little brief and off the cuff - 'let’s hope they fix it soon' - LOL! 😄

Well this has happened to a batch of systems it seems, so they must have changed something that causes this problem with a specific set-up or configuration.

Not for the first time - as I didn't have the latest USB problem, but lots of people did and that was undeniable.

To balance that, I had terrible anti-aliasing problems before this latest patch (5), but lots of people weren't seeing it and it appeared they didn't believe me - frustrating!
The fact that it was fixed for me in patch 5 proves it was a real problem , as it is a world apart now, but I am wondering if that fix that works on mine broke it for others now.

I wish they would be a bit clearer on what the problem actually was when they fix something, but they are never too communicative on that I notice.

I sometimes wonder if MS/Asobo are just playing with us!  🙄

Nah...  I genuinely feel sorry for Asobo and the MS rep who appears on update talk videos.

They were dealt a nasty hand by higher-ups and need to make best of it now.  🙂

I have a feeling they know quite a bit about the issue.  I wasn't asked to provide much detail about my system hardware and settings (other than usual: windows, sim version, connected peripherals, list add-ons).

This wasn't a Zendesk response, someone answered that on the official forums, same thread

It appears I shouldn't write anything before morning coffee.

Noooch, so glad you caught this!

I'm so sorry for misrepresenting the situation.  Qucik email check before work. "Hello, I hope you are well" threw me off.

Again, sorry to everyone reading this thread.

Will update as soon as I really hear something from Zendesk.

*off to land a C152 on water*

blurry cockpit here also. only way to sharpen it up for me is increase render to max, not an option.

OK, here's the real response to Zendesk ticket:
