Self-help for black scenary objects in v5.1 -with EA on.

Good evening,

Calling all scenery ninjas....

Is there a way we can fix the black scenary objects in v5.1 with EA on? Possibly using ModelConverterX?

I know @Rob_Ainscoughmentioned something about changing flags over on the Orbx forums. 

I’m a fan of self-help if it’s possible.

Switch EA off 

it’s not ready yet.

Yeah, its a shame that EA can't cope with old textures of quick-and-dirty converted addons.

Hmm. But neither is any of the other options. Pick your poison.

it's because scenery was released with materials settings that were unsupported by LM (but worked without needing obvious amendment at the time) - seems like a case of 3PDs doing 'just' what's required rather than actually making their products fully compatible.  If we want sceneries without problems I think we need to be prepared to cough up for the updating work, especially when that Dev time has to be considered an opportunity cost against developing products for MSFS now....
