Hello All, I'm a long time GA pilot recently scooped up by the local rural schoolboard to teach an Introduction to Aviation class. The school board, God bless them, bought four flight sims (Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, 3 screens, and top of the line CPUs and graphics cards for P3Dv5 Academic). I bought one years ago for my Multi-IFR tickets and only used it for that purpose (wouldn't have gotten the tickets with out it!). I have five days left of healthy budget and am asking for your advice on what add-ons to purchase. Am feeling quite overwhelmed with all of the options. I understand a lot of your add-on purchases are based on taste. I'm looking for those add-ons that really made a difference to your experience so the kids can feel fully immersed, and the parents and grandparents looking over their shoulders can have an equally immersive experience. I haven't posted screenshots on Avsim for 10+ years but MSFS has pulled me back into the community... It has also made flying over Iran with its mesmerizing mountainous landscapes such a joy that a few of us (who were never scenery developers) have started a project to build out the most detailed sceneries of the airports in the country ever made on any platform! We start with OIIE Tehran IKA which I hope you all enjoy - plan for release this weekend… -
Self-help for black scenary objects in v5.1 -with EA on.

Good evening, Calling all scenery ninjas.... Is there a way we can fix the black scenary objects in v5.1 with EA on? Possibly using ModelConverterX? I know @Rob_Ainscoughmentioned something about changing flags over on the Orbx forums. I’m a fan of self-help if it’s possible. Thanks James. -

Hi all. Im playing: FSX I have this problem when i starts a flight everything is working perfect until i i can see the arrival airport and that there is no buildings in the airport, only gate-arms!?!?!? When im taxing in to get is the same as before, i can only se gate-arms no buildings. But today when i set the parking brakes at the "gate"(no buildings so i can't call it a gate) i wondered if it was the same at another airport, so i changed airport and yes, there was only gate-arms, no building. then i have some uk200 scenary, so switched to Gatwick uk2000 scenary, and there was no problem with that scenary? I think there is something wrong with the defaults scenary. I have sp1 and sp2. Please help!!!! i'm very frustrated! :( Thank you BRGD. William Bjoern (vatsim user)
