Flight controls won’t work in external view

Featured Replies

Hello..

I have noticed if I am in external views I cannot deploy flaps and spoilers neither via controls nor via buttons. I have to be inside of the cockpit. Before the patch I was able, for example, to move spoiler lever and see spoilers to rise in external views. Now I don’t see any controls movement in external views and I cannot even activate controls to move. All aircraft are affected. Clean sim install after the latest patch. Thanks

In drone view you can press the "C" key to start control the plane. Press again to return to drone view control.

Are you sure you are not using the drone view? On drone view the controls won’t work unless you press “C”.

That was it. Thanks for the tip. Working now. I thought something went wrong again after the update.

I just press Insert button. Not sure what view triggers by pressing Insert button. But pushing C button activate controls. Thanks

If you can’t move the view angle with the mouse, you are using the drone view.

Also if it the flight commands worked after pressing C, you were definitely using the drone view.
