FSUIPC 7 question

Featured Replies

I have always used the FSUIPC product to assign and calibrate my yoke, pedals, and throttle quad and want to use the new v7 for the same things in MSFS. Using FSUIPC, it was easy to create an aircraft specific model for each aircraft. In FSX, and P3D, I could disable those controllers in the sim options so there was no conflict in running them through FSUIPC. I can't seem to find anything in MSFS to do this? Do we no longer have to de disable them when using FSUIPC?

Thanks

You can't disable controllers in MSFS. You just need to create new empty profiles for each controller instead.

Dave Garwood.

I suspect you might have to create an MSFS profile *per aircraft* if you want different axis assignment MSFS<>FSUIPC combinations.

I just clear all my MSFS assignments and let FSUIPC7 manage all of them - bearing in mind that FSUIPC lets you assign different (FSUIPC) profiles per aircraft.

Thanks for that. I will try it.

Yes. I have always created a separate profile for each aircraft. I hadn't thought about creating a master blank profile in MSFS. I see how it goes.

Thanks.

In MSFS (with or without FSUIPC), you can create several controller profiles to be used with different aircraft, everybody knows this. Now is it possible to automatically assign a profile to an aircraft so that the profile is automatically used when the aircraft is selected?

This is what FSUIPC does in FSX/P3D, can it be done in MSFS?

This is what I am trying to find out, and how to set the settings in MSFS and FSUIPC to accomplish this. I will look at the FSUIPC forum.
