With MSFS, you can never assume anything's too obvious!

But yes, they are all separate, i.e. I have 16 folders beginning with "Prop_MOD_"

Make sure you have the mod versions and not the version to replace the official files.

Go into the zip, then inside the zip go into the Prop Mod folder and pull out all the individual prop mods and place them in your community folder. If they are the only thing in your community folder then that folder should look like this:

@Phantoms those are the files I downloaded, but I deleted and downloaded again anyway. Although the difference isn't as obvious as in the video, I could spot more of a difference when I tested under different weather/time/location. I have now tested a couple of the mods at midday in the Shetland Islands, which means low, hazy sunshine at this time of year, and I can see a bit of a change. So I think the effect will vary according to the lighting conditions, and not just when it's one extreme or the other. I'll gradually add each one back in and do a before and after test to be certain, but that seems to be what the issue was.🙂

Just be aware that if you add a livery or plane mod, you'll likely have to add them into that manually by copying the files from the prop-mod's texture folder of the plane you need into the texture folder of your plane/livery mod, and then using MSFSLayoutGenerator on the layout.json of your plane/livery's root folder.

I am having a problem getting these things unzipped to install.  When I click link above I only get option for "ZIP Extractor", not normal download into Downloads with option to unzip by simply clicking on .zip file.  Then "unzipped" file supposedly go into Google Drive, where if I can find them I can only "unzip" again into somewhere ?

Any simple way to get these files ?  I think I had them before simply before I lost my Community folder on a Reset.

At the top right of your screen, you should see two icons, then the 3 dots menu icon and finally your Google account icon. The second icon is the download one. Clicking on that should bring up the "Save/Save As" dialogue at bottom left.

This is all for Microsoft(New) Edge - other browsers may look different.
