Very pixelated / blocky cloud reflections

Featured Replies

Any fix for this? Everything is set on Ultra (besides LOD at 100), however the reflections setting seems not to affect it.

Thanks!

Thanks!

This is because water has waves.

Edit to my previous statement.  I mis-read your post and thought you were referring to the clouds which are somewhat pixelated in the sim but add-on developers like REX would resolve that.  Concerning the water reflection I felt with the last couple of updates Asobo did an amazing job with improving it.  Guess there's more to go.  Never noticed this in the sim.  Guess I'll have to look next time.

Rex can't fix the clouds because they are not textures. They are generated by noise.

Didn't you notice this? It can't be considered OK... I took these last screenshots now, after the last patch (this is the Alaska bush trip).

Ultra settings as usual

I don't see these either. Many issues can be resolved by restarting computer and delete the rolling cache.

Update:  If you set your wind to zero, it might get like that. Change the weather another setting and then go back to what it was before Also adding wind can make it look better

I cannot change the weather settings, this is the Alaska bush trip.

It's really disappointing that these reflections look hideous in absence of wind, I'd rather disable them but the Reflections setting doesn't affect them.

How many topics do you want on the same thing? You have a bug, that's not normal, as other topic, clean drivers and update.
