PANC Anchorage addon working in P3Dv5.1hf1?

Featured Replies

I think Aerosoft is my only choice for a PANC Anchorage addon, correct?  Has anyone confirmed it working in P3Dv5hf1?

I'm also looking for a Dutch Harbor / Unalaska addon, and I'm pretty sure the Aerosoft/FSDG does NOT work in v5 - am I correct?

I've flown into PANC once since 5.1 HF1 and didn't see any issues. Yes, Aerosoft is pretty much your only option.

Thanks guys - I'll pick it up as it looks way better than the default region.  Much appreciated.

If anyone can comment on Dutch/Unalaska, please do.  I'll probably start another thread with that in the title in a day or so otherwise!

I think I have a copy of Dutch Harbor -- let me install it this afternoon and will post back the results. And yes, PANC works great!

Well, I thought I had a copy of Dutch Harbor, but apparently not. My apologies -- based on what the description says at Simmarket, I would doubt it would work okay unless you are familiar with generating exclusions with ADE since there is no mention of P3D compatibility.

Happy T-Day!

Thanks for checking, much appreciated.  I may give it a whirl as I do have some ADE work under my belt and can covert the v4 to v5 exclusions...not sure there's much to exclude in the default airport anyway.

Awesome area of the world, surprised there's not more interest.

I'm definitely interested in PADU (and that region generally). If I recall correctly, Aerosoft's PADU didn't work correctly in V4.5 the last time I checked. The sat image was missing, and/or there was the default ground polys bleeding through. There were probably more errors I didn't notice. Maybe it was just a misconfiguration on my side, although I did check the usual suspects.

Best regards, Dimitrios

PADU looks surprisingly good for an FSX scenery.  There's a few floating cars, and a monolithic Maersk container pile, but I think with a little ADE love, this will work fine.  I installed it to a spoofed fsx folder and used add-on.xml to get it into P3D.  Let me know if anyone wants more details.  I still need to play with the old ADE file a bit and make sure comms are okay.

Just a quick note for anyone following, outside of a floating strip mall and a few sunken vehicles, I've got PADU working very well.  PM if interested.
