Working Title G1000 Mod - 25khz Comms Spacing

Featured Replies

Hello, I could have swore in the past I was able to toggle between 25khz comm frequencies and 8khz in the Working Title G1000 mod.  It looks like in the real G1000 this is done using the AUX button but that doesn't do it in the mod.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

Isn't there an 'AUX' page that you can scroll over to using the FMS page change knob that has this setting on it?

Yes!
On another note, at one point changing the option to 25 would hold from session to session.  Seems that is not happening for me any more.  I find I need to reset it for every flight.  I start each flight after restarting the sim.  I do not go from flight to flight without restarting the sim for a number of reported reasons.  I even often reboot my system.

Ahhh thank you!  Dialing in comms frequencies manually with 8khz spacing can be annoying.

This I would report to the Working Title team, they mentioned they were using a new persistent storage mechanism a while back, maybe it has been glitched.

I also notice that the CDI mode doesn't save it's state either. Every time I fly I have to cycle back to GPS.

One more issue I've noticed with the mod that is brought over from the stock MSFS G1000 is the fuel tank icons ("R" & "L") on the MFD display. "R" is displayed as the top and "L" as the bottom (the same with the stock MSFS G1000) but every G1000 I've seen has this the opposite, with the fuel display having "L" on top and "R" on bottom.

Edit: Filed an issue on the Github page.

I have noted that the freq interval, which at one version with the mod was retained, is no longer retained.  I am needing to reset it on each flight.
