Basic Scenery Colours Unrealistic

But they are big resource hogs (the Isle of Man alone is almost 12GB in size)

I was lamenting the fact that I cannot get hold of that IOM scenery for a reasonable price (there is one brand new on ebay, but for 30 quid!). Now seeing you say that makes me think that maybe I should not bother; trying to fly from England across to the island, both photoreal may cause me so issues. 🍻

It’s good scenery but I wouldn’t want to pay thirty quid for it unless I was a tax exile in the Isle of Man! I was lucky enough to find a few boxed Earthsim sceneries in a clearance sale at Flightstore UK a few years ago and I got it then. You are right about potential performance issues though - I failed in my first attempt at a flight there from Dublin (perhaps the wrong place to start however as I use Aerosoft Dublin which is a bit of a resource hog in itself!). I basically ended up doing some local sightseeing flights out of Ronaldsway in a very low resource aircraft, the Vertigo Simulations Stearman, which had the added benefit of being slow enough to really enjoy the scenery.
