December 11, 20205 yr Hello, When I ask the copilot to set the heading or altitude, it never display the correct value, the heading selector turn without stopping at the good value and stop at a wrong value. I assume you installed MCE to default C:\Program Files (x86)\Multi Crew Experience\ folder I think I am using the last version of MCE 2.8.9.0. Are there any users who have the same problem. Thanks for your help. Pascal

Thanks for your help. Pascal What sim are you using? What aircraft are you using? There are so many aircraft that can use MCE, it's impossible to say what's wrong. FS9/FSX/P4DV2/2)3/4/..that other sim and the MSFS latest nightmare! MCE does them all, but the latest MSFS is a "beta" project that alters with every update patch, so it impossible for Devs to keep up! The SDK is incomplete and gets updated every week! Then in MSFS, the best aircraft have modders working on the sim. Every hour or so someone uploads an update and we download the darned thing and expect MCE to work with the update.... For example, the CJ4 is now V8! It's superb, it has VNav and verticsl constraints built into the FMC....Asobo know nothing about what the Dev modders have done! How can 3rd party Devs like MCE know what's gone into the Java script in the mod file? Glad I don't have to cope with this! Anyway, answer the first two questions and someone brighter than me may be able to answer! Regards David
December 20, 20205 yr Well, for me it is MSFS 2020, the plane is the TBM, and MCE 2.8.9.2. MCE sets the altitude OK, but I also experience the constant turning of the heading when requesting MCE to set the heading. I simply do by myself now. But, I definitely understand the mods keep changing. Considering this, I think MCE has done a wonderful job with MSFS 2020. PC: AMD 9850X3D, RAM 64GB, Geforce GTX 5090 (32GB), MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, Pimax Super 50PPD, Quest 3
December 20, 20205 yr Commercial Member It's OK to report anything thaty requires attention. Before you do, remove the mod and test with default ASOBO plane to see if it's not related to mod affecting performance and causing latency. Make use of the restored SHIFT + Z (in latest version) to gauge the situation. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
February 10, 20215 yr Author Thank you for your answers with a little delay. I am always looking for solutions to my problem. When I ask my copilot for my callsign, the answer is "callsign is" without naming it. I did a clean install of MCE but I think I have an installation problem without finding the origin. What is necessary to have as .dll or as system files for FS 2020, I have no problem for P3D V5. Gerald what do you mean "Make use of the restored SHIFT + Z" ? Thank's for your help. Pascal

Pascal Press "SHIFT +Z" and you should see FPS, Corrdinates, Gforce and Simulation rate displayed in MSFS at the top of the screen, the same way you are used to in FSX & Prepar3D Are you running other applications that use MSFS Simconnect? Pascal I use Fsuipc, and the software Linda with MCP Combo VRinsight, and application Android "Cockpit to sim" and nothing else. I don't use mods.

I don't use mods. FSUIPC is well known and tested with. I suggest you leave out "Cockpit to sim" for your next session and see if it makes a diffeence. Given a specific aircraft (engines running), airport gate and same default view, use SHIFT+Z to see whether FPS is fluctuating too much when using all apps, versus MCE + FSUIPC only. February 13, 20215 yr Author In a new test I am not using anything other FS 2020 and MCE, the problem is the same as before with heading. No fluctuation FPS. What MCE mean with " New ATC option" ?

No fluctuation FPS. What MCE mean with " New ATC option" ? You may have enabled a feature intended for Blind Visually Impaired pilots whereby MCE notifies user when new ATC options are available. Please disable that as follows. Right-click anywhere in MCE user interface and de-select option "Enable narrator". The video clip you sent related to HDG bug shows a very abrupt (not smooth) movement of the BUG, suggesting heavy stutters (when flying). The FO will typically move the bug, wait a bit, then reads the new bug position before either moving it further or stopping when it has reached desired HDG. Maybe he's unable to read HDg in a timely manner. Alhough normally not required, try running MSFS 2020 as admin. Unable to replicate here. Anyone else having issue with HD dialling, please chime in. February 16, 20215 yr I am having the same issue, It occurs without fail, in every aircraft that I ask for a heading hold. Also when you have the Co-pilot handle the atc, and he tunes to a tower frequency with ATIS he bounces back and forth between the atis and tower frequencies. fs2020 default aircraft, modded aircraft, any aircraft.

I have tracked down the switch of frequencies to a feedback issue with my headset, what i believe is happening is he was reading off the freq, and hearing interpolating his own speech as a request to switch, in a loop.
