Spring Season - Australia - New Zealand - Japan

Featured Replies

  • Commercial Member

Spring season is done for the following areas:

  1. Australia - (western part)
  2. New Zealand (all expect desert and high Mountain area)
  3. Japan (all areas)

I setup spring trees to show within cities only.  It didn't make sense to make all mountains pink/white/purple.  I think it looks best like this.

All others countries still have spring colors but may have wrong colors outside cities or on mountains - So I only recommend using this mod for Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

Remove all other "season mod" you may have from community folder to use this one. You can only use one season at a time.

looks great.  a few yellows as seen in Pacific Northwest cities (and probably elsewhere) would be nice.

The flower bushes is not working for me.  I could see this in some areas like DC or Japan but all over the world in spring doesn’t seem right.  Different hues of light green for freshly grown leaves is all that’s needed.

This is fantastic thank you!

However you say Australia Westen part, Sydney is on the East 🙂

Will this also work with the paid ORBX Sydney scenery?

Thanks

Many cities I’ve experienced have planted landscapes with colorful flowering trees, some more than others.  But for more natural biomes, there are few or no flowering trees and hues of green would be more appropriate.

Seems like a major undertaking to get each biome just right.

Love what you’ve been able to do with fall and winter and I’m sure spring will be just as spectacular.

Hi @BijanStudio;

Thanks for the mods, again. I checked spring. It is really nice.

I have seen the spring trees also around EHAM (Amsterdam). Not only Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Anyway, thats nice.

That's exactly why I said only in the mentioned areas. )

Yes, some has more than others and it's impossible to study each city and do each individually.  This is something not for all. As mentioned above, few love it and few hate it. Can't keep everyone happy.

I've never been in Australia so I wouldn't know.  it's impossible to study each city and do each individually.  This is something not for all. As mentioned above, few love it and few hate it. Can't keep everyone happy. 🙂

I lived in Sydney for the past 20 years and those "pink" trees blossom in spring and they are beautiful but they are not everywhere like in this mod, however yes it would be very hard to spread them evenly I imagine as they should be. I guees there should be fewer of them and not in every patch of trees if possible, instead there should be more shades of green for variety in my opinion.

There should definitely be less of the pink ones say about 20% to get closer to reality.
