December 13, 20205 yr This morning I made my first flight in Africa since installing Orbx Open Land Class Africa. I flew from Nairobi to Mombasa at 9500 feet in my Quest Kodiak. It was not what I expected. I expected a lot of bush and jungle I guess. I was not prepared for all the desert like scrub and all of the farmland. Almost like what we have here in southeast New Mexico. Now not having ever been in Africa I don't know how accurate the Orbx land class is, but I was duly impressed. I'm going to have to try a flight in South America tomorrow since I have not yet seen Orbx Open Land Class South America. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
December 13, 20205 yr Hi, What you have seen there is there in real life as well, it is all scrub and open savanna, you drive trough a National park, there is no jungle. I have been there so I know, I am flying in that region in MSFS and it is amazing. December 13, 20205 yr Africa is next up on my MSFS explore list. It’s a place I’ve never really spent any time in owing to the lack of scenery/texture/landclass addons in P3D (before ORBX’s recent foray in the continent).
