So I know that feedback is valuable and fixing issue may be very time consuming. 😂 My RL job is tech support for a very large software house. We make software that tests software i.e. does QA on the end product. So we're in the same line of work and understand exactly where the other person is coming from. 'The bible' is frequently wrong and may be so again as in this case as those are the methods that I am using. My standalone SimConnect debugger shows the ident as 'off' when it is sounding in the sim.

They may almost always point in the forward direction, even when one passes the beacon. In the 2D panel, the needle of radio 2 works fine, but radio 1 switched off again when I opened the window. Reproduced - thank you for the report. The 'point forward' problem seems to occur when the actual station direction goes from 359 to zero and the needles just don't follow the direction. January 1, 20215 yr I am now a proud owner of this product but I cannot find the patch download anywhere on the site. Can you please provide some advice/help? Many thanks in advance!
January 2, 20215 yr Hi Espresso, I think they just updated the full download. Hence, if you bought and installed it within the last few days, you should have the latest version. Peter
January 2, 20215 yr Author Commercial Member That is correct. Expect a new interim patch (full download) in about a week.
January 2, 20215 yr @qqwertzde and @dragonflighdesign Many thanks for the quick answers! I saw in the download that the version number was 1.0 so I didn't expect the patch to be included already. Thank you!

Could you do us a favor before (or may be in a next iteration). I am used to put as much as possible everything outside Prepar3D folder using the add-on.xml method.. The only issue I have with the B314 is that your DirectSound uses an absolute path. I had to create a jonction from a fake empty "G:\Prepar3D v5\SimObjects\Airplanes\PILOTS B314 triple tail\sound\" to the Add-On sound folder to make it work. Thanks to consider that "request". Gérard
January 10, 20215 yr Author Commercial Member Hello Gérard I'll put that on the 'back burner' for possible inclusion in the B314-A. The main dll does expect to find the \sound folder in the \B-314 structure - it queries the O/S for the path to its own folder and then calculates where the \sound folder should be from that.

Hello Peter That turned out to be a fairly nasty bug. I was passing negative figures to the 2D panel (which is okay) but did not know that the VC panel cannot deal with them. I learn something new most days... 😄
