June 1, 20215 yr One of the problems with most VR headsets is that they don't have adjustable eye relief. As far as I know, the only exceptions are the Valve Index and Vive Pro/Pro 2. I have an odyssey plus and had to get the VR cover and some velcro tape to get it close enough to my eyes, but ideally it would go closer still if my nose did not get in the way. I would never get another VR headset that will not allow you to change the eye-lens distance, that's just as important as being able to physically adjust the IPD. On another note, nobody seems to have mentioned changing the OpenXR render scale. If this is set too low, then the scenery does look more blurry. I only have a GTX 1080 and have both MSFS and OpenXR render scale set to 90, with the Odyssey plus refresh rate set to 60. Now I only have to hit 15 fps for the reprojection to kick in. There's a few artefacts, but considering this is such a minimal spec graphics card, it's not too bad, though it won't handle photogrammetry.
August 9, 20214 yr After using the Index for over a year I had the chance to try a reverb g2. Yes the picture is a little sharper but the fov is a joke. Noway I will go back to look through a small tunnel ever again Lukas Dalton

August 26, 20214 yr The biggest problem of blurry image in VR MSFS its a poor antyaliasing. More of us use TAA but TAA do very blurry image. Second problem what I noticed its motion reprojection in MSFS. It does a blurry image too again, so worse and worse. The problem is that this both settings must be on, without it the quality of picture looks really bad. I dont know that Asobo will do something with this. Im very happy sharpen picture in P3Dv5, IL-2 or DCS but MSFS has blurry image from the beginning as default feature ;D. btw. G2 offers the best quality picture in VR now, new gasket helps a little with sweet spot, I agree but here its not an issue of this VR setup but directly in MSFS settings.
