Oddly enough, at least one group named actually managed to produce a flying example of their vision. That group being the "Power Plant Group!" It is clear though that the "Wing Group" did make a modest contribution... :laugh:

Actually there are some other notable aircraft from the Power Plant Group which made it to fruition IMHO:

B-36 Peacemaker. This one's slightly confusing as thanks to its military budget the aluminium real estate was so huge that it dwarfed the 6 prop and 4 jet engines which the Wing Group graciously permitted to be put in and on the wings.. :dry:
