Now that's a high-tec sound file for ya ... sounds like Bill to me :7

Can someone please upload it, so we can all enjoy. ;(

LOL !!!As real as it gets ... ;) There's a copter' training outfit that runs the R22's up in Whitecourt, AB - I'll stop by next time I'm up there just to double check - Although I'm pretty sure they went BUP BUP BUP BUP not BE BE BE BE. I'm still laughing picturing the dev with a mike doing this, thinking oh yea - this is gonna be the best FS version yet !Ahh, the joys we have some days ... Thanks Bill, I needed the laugh.Regards'Garett

>LOL! Actually, the "rotor.wav" and "whup.wav" are the same>sound muffled down. >>Nice find!Usually the Xxx.wav files are the external sounds and are a bit louderVicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/

In XRotor.wav, I'm thinking they did a rather poor job of editing it for the transition between the beginning and the end of the file. You definately notice a stark change when the file is on repeat at that point.Anyone up for for modifying the file to correct this, or perhaps creating a whole new better quality version?Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

I was hoping for even funnier versions, maybe somebody having his/her kid do something.Or maybe a sound.cfg file which actually does use this file. :)In fact, I think I will do that. At least the sound will approximate my skill as a 'copter pilot.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

For those waiting for their free FSX for attending the convention, you can also hear these sounds in the fsx demo version.
