Garmin Trainer Launcher update breaks the RXP GTN

Garmin recently released version 3 of their trainer launcher. It looks like the RXP products are not compatible with it yet.

After the update, I can’t get the GTN units to work or even appear in any aircraft.

Is that a known issue? If so, any chances on the update? According to the info in the launcher, the trainers themselves weren’t updated. But it’s possible they were moved by Garmin to a different folders.

Same issue on my end. Developer please fix! Great software btw !

Can you try the old launcher?

When I try to install it, it forces the update to 3.0.0.0.

UPD: correction, this one seem to install.

This is exactly the stuff as to why I don't jump in anymore with the latest and greatest updates of sim's, planes, scenery, utilities.  It's inevitable something will go wrong.

Maybe wait until JL issues an update which I'm sure will come once he has time to assess what changes are needed?

Hopefully that happens before too long. The old version is problematic.

It works with 2710 on the pop out window but the actual aircraft panel is black.

Do you get any error messages in the rxp log files (in your Documents folder)?
