Wow the more I read and see all the user fixes I am starting to wonder if Aces should have waited for another 6 months and fixed all this stuff and had more extensive testing. I too have experienced odd flight behaviour like this.

>Exagerated thermals perhaps. Or a sudden strong headwingYou might want to read the thread again. It's NOT thermals (easy to see if visualized).>although this would show as a rise on the airspeed indicator>and would cause the nose to rise, I think. Then again if youWhich is what happens. The pictures show planes trying to COUNTER that effect, hence the dive.Regards,http://www.bremmekamp.com/img/misc/avsim.jpg

How about someone from the ACES team commenting on this ?Tero

>How about someone from the ACES team commenting on this ?>>TeroIn my opinion that is a good suggestion.:-spacecraft

I also noticed some very violent and unrealistic shaking and airspeed fluctuations in the first glider mission over Lake Tahoe. Probably ill modeled wave lift? Thermals seem also too uniform - either no lift at all or full strength. There must be something wrong with the new modelling of updrafts...

I have not seen a bug report on this, please make one. [email protected].

Look at Phils comment, he is 'aces'JohanA LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION, AND A LITTLE MORE ACTION PLEASE.."The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one - but still they come!"Ulla!

The indirect suggestion of a bug report to MS is a good idea. While we wait for MS to digest this problem hopefully someone will come up with a "work around", other than turning off all turbulence & thermals.

>Look at Phils comment, he is 'aces'>Johan> Yep he is Johan.....as ACES as they come;) Graphics PM I believe.
