Frozen windshield at Barrow before my preflight:

20210104165451-1.jpg

Great pics. That banksman would be sacked for letting that truck back up under the wing of the plane though. That's why they stick cones 1m out from the wingtips, only the fuel truck is allowed under the wing!

Lighting colours in that shot are absolutely spot on. Reminds me of working on Norwegian 737s in the snow at EGCC. Sometimes you'd see steam coming off the cockpit roof, from the heat off the avionics melting the snow and rain on the aeroplane exterior. 🙂

This is not currently possible. I hope Asobo will actually add cones as is the case in PMDG's products?
Good news...the Asobo team will be working this year on improving airports, pushback, ground animation in airports etc

There's not need to worry about doing this. Once you have activated the batteries and turn on the APU, you activate the "PROBE WINDOW HEAT" and the frost will disappear in a few seconds. It's located above the APU.

The gent on the tail was from Barrow.

Amazing shots...!!

Yes, you surely need to pack some warm gears for this place...🙂...!!
