Takeoff data cards and EFB vspeeds do not match

Featured Replies

I know the data cards that FS2crew is showing are provided from the leonardo MD80, but do these cards not account for derated takeoffs? The v speeds calculated from the EFB are different. Is there a way for FS2Crew to recognize the v speeds from the EFB and not the takeoff card? Also the cards only correspond to a rounded flap selection (IE: Flaps 7 instead of 6.5 in this case).

The takeoff data cards don’t figure optimum flap settings, if you have the same flap settings from the takoff/landing data cards as the EFB performance app, the figures will be identical.
