January 19, 20215 yr Hi! The Mooney is somehow lagging for me. It's not low FPS as i am holding perfectly 30Hz. It's more like a judder every few seconds. January 19, 20215 yr Some people are reporting frame drops on the Mooney with certain lights on - landing and taxi I think they said. They do look volumetric, so they might pinch a bit of performance, but I have not seen it myself. you could try it with the lights turned off, although if you do trace it to that, there is not much you can do about it unfortunately. Carenado, even if they are made aware of it, may take some time to respond. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
January 19, 20215 yr As @bobcat999 mentioned, see what happens with lights off. On my side I lose a good 8 fps if I have nav, landing and taxi lights on. As a result, I mostly fly the Mooney in daytime (a real shame).
January 19, 20215 yr Author Ok, thanks for your replies. Unfortunately the light thing wasn't the problem. But fortunately a simple reinstall seemed to help. So the problem is fixed for now.
