MSFS G1000 Question

Featured Replies

Is there anyway to easily display a map page that shows all airports within range?

If you haven't already, go grab the Working Title G1000 mod which greatly enhances the default G1000 and also has some bug fixes.

I don't recall if the G1000 has the ability to show airports etc but it might. Someone who's more familiar with the 1000, can you please assist? 🙂

Yes the Working Title G1000 mod has a nearest airport page, but I think the standard version also has it if I'm not mistaken.

Fully agree with the mention of the WT G1000 mod.  Otherwise it is highly dependent on what is meant by range.   300 nm?  or instead 1,200 nm?

Thanks,

By RANGE I am referring to the area covered by the map as determined by the adjusted "RANGE" setting chosen. I will try out the WT G1000. I would also appreciate it if anyone knows if the MSFS version has such a page and, if so, how to quickly access it.

From the normal display on the MFD, just rotate the FMS knob. That's how to do it on the WT version.

If the stock version has it, I'd imagine it would work the same.
