iFly 747-400 Freeware Liveries

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there are additional paints for the freeware iFly 747-400 beyond the 7 it comes with?

I don't mean the iFly Jets commercial 747-400. I'm talking about the freeware version on several libraries.

Did they use Posky 3d models? Or the FSX default?

Any info?

Thanks guys.

Gary,

As far as I know, the Flight 1 libraries iFly repaints are compatible.  I can only say that I have heard about this somewhere as I have never bothered with the freeware version.  I have both the 737 and the 747 for FS2004 (CD) and the download versions of both for P3Dv4. I do not know if this will be upgraded for P3Dv5 or not, but currently it is not available nor is it compatible with v5.

There are quite a few free repaints available on the Flight1 site and I believe AVSIM library carries quite a few too.

Good luck

Tony

Thanks. I use FSX-SE until I put more ram in my system then I will go to Prepar3d or 2020.

I will try them out.

I think the 747 which is now available as freeware was the original version developed by iFly themselves and which was subsequently replaced by their much improved and excellent V2 which is the current payware version. I would be surprised if they used anyone else’s models!

I did notice a few glitches on the electrical and engine controls. I downloaded from Rikoooo. I don't know if theirs is the latest freeware version. I did find service packs here on Avsims library.
