March 14, 20215 yr I have the latest version installed but I have noticed if I exit the flight to make an adjustment to control sensitivities, apply/save and then return to flight, engines shut down. It seems any stepping out of the flight to the main menu causes this. Is there a workaround anyone knows of please? AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11
March 14, 20215 yr You maybe have a mixture axis setting on your stick interfering? When you go out to the menu and then back the game it reads the state of your mixture axis on your stick and sets it to that. If your mixture axis is set to off then it'll result in your engine switching off even though the CJ4 doesn't have a mixture control setting as far as I know so this doesn't make any sense. I've had this happen to me before anyway and found I have to make sure to have my mixture set all the way on. No issues then.

March 14, 20215 yr What @Tektolnes said. What I did: I made a duplicate of my yoke control assignments. One of them has the mixture axis set as usual. It is used for planes with a mixture control. The other one has the mixture lever assigned to the spoilers axis. I use that one for planes without a mixture control. Comes in handy on the A320 when descending and need a bit more feet per minute. 😉 ...jim ASUS Prime Z790-E, Intel i9 13900K, 32Gb DDR5 Ram, Nvidia 3090 24Gb, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB and 1 TB, Samsung Odyssey G9 Ultrawide 49" G-SYNC Monitor.

I have mixture assigned to the "wheel" on my Hotas Throttle and always ensure its push forward in the fully rich config when flying Jets. If I have it pulled back, when I press ESC then go back to sim the engines die in those planes which don't have mixture - weird but hey ho. Thomas Derbyshire
