I get a plane failure in the CRJ when using drone camera

Featured Replies

Not sure what the drone camera has to do with an engine or any other related plane failure. But to recreate the scenario. I started at KSEA runway 16L. Launched the drone cam and headed towards downtown, and right before I can get there the sim popped a window saying their was some sort of failure or stress damage to my plane? Does anyone else get the same? This has to be some sort of bug.

I'm curious if anyone here get's the same error.

I had the same issue on my system.

I found if you go to Assistance, and disable Aircraft Stress Damage & Engine Stress Damage then all was good.

I suspect it is a bug though.

Cheers

Apologies . The first sentence should be  - I had the same issue for all aircraft types on my system.

Cheers

I remember I had this also with different planes. Some sort of bug if you go to far away from the aircraft.

so it's an MSFS bug, has anyone reported this yet to Asobo?

It happens when a key or input you are using to control the drone is also bound to some control on the plane.

yes, as far as I remember, the drone and autopilot share a same keyboard command or an autopilot command is in the midst of the drone keyboard commands making easy to hit the wrong key. Anyway, deleting all keyboard assignments for the autopilot did solve the issue.
