Planes wont pushback when using FSLTL. Apparently its a known bug in SU5 which has been reported to Asobo. No wait! Ive got a Ryanair plane pushing back at Faro?

FSLTL is back in business as long as you have a Navigraph subscription. And with a much better set-up UI. Working great for me. Hooray!

In most respects it's does, but with regard to the ground textures it doesn't. I do think that they've bought some extra performance at the expense of visual quality. There's no such thing as a free lunch and whether it was worth it is just a matter of opinion.

Actually I think they may have downgraded the land textures. Hard to say but certainly the UK isn't looking great to my mind.

This works OK with FSLTL and I've settled on it as the best solution performance wise. However, today, I've seen little airborne traffic and no ships. (I've also installed AIG to minimise blank liveries.) But I've noticed this before when using default MSFS so it may be a temporary anomaly due to some server issue? Or is it because MSFS also uses FlightRadar24 which is shutting down its free server? Where does MSFS get its live data from? EDIT There's definitely nothing in the air in my sim as there's nothing showing on LittleNavMap. God, I'm going to miss FSLTL. 2nd EDIT. Set to AI Offline I get some planes flying around. But set to Online zilch. Nothing. Server is down methinks. Maybe permanently as per the above?

I'm gutted that FSLTL no longer injects live traffic. I am currently downloading AIG but have no idea what I am doing, or what OCT is and it looks like a six hour job. I just want MSFS to use the planes. How do I get MSFS to use the fleet? Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Same issue here. But how do you adjust the parking radius and what do you set it to?

Yes but its MFSF injecting the live traffic. Not FSLTL. However it avoids parked aircraft with blank liveries.

I don't find the menu very easy to use? For instance GSX breaks the gear on pushback with some planes such as the RJ. I understand it's because of the wrong tug being used. But how do you select the right tug?

I've been flitting between SU4 and the SU5 beta since it became live because of a rogue addon which, at last I found. Now I've got the beta working, to be honest, I can't see much difference? In both the performance is simply astonishing. With either I have to have Texture Resolution set to High rather than Ultra to avoid the GPU message. Wish I could rid of that massage because the sim runs fine on Ultra.

Finally managed to get the Beta to behave. Turns out it was either the UK Birds or Pastures add on. Both worked fine in SU4. But in the Beta they cause increasingly bad pausing and eventually a crash.

GSX doesn't cause any instability for me. It does cause me to curse and shout when the dispatcher walks in front of my plane after pushback.

Ive just found out that our internet contact has run out and that Virgin Media has downgraded our speed to a crawl (whilst doubling our monthly payment) so it's probably that. I'll try again when it's back up to speed.

I only tried the Fenix and PMDG 737. Both the same. Fine on the ground but pauses after take off. Maybe I need a new system. SU4 is smooth so I'll sick with that for now.

It's not playing nicely on my PC. Stutters and pauses. Rolling back.

My wish list? Hedges, hedges and hedges.

Seems fine to me for a sim plane. Obviously I've no idea how true to life it is because I am not a pilot and have no wish to be one. But it satisfies the illusion and I can fly it from A to B. The fact that its taken PMDG so long to implement some very minor changes and charge thirty quid for the upgrade to 2024, despite the promises that it would be free, is another matter...

I'm struggling with it. There is VNAV under certain circumstances but it doesn't seem to function like any other plane I have. Has anyone made a tutorial? Maybe it's true to life? It's probably me but I think I'm pushing all the right buttons but possibly not in the right order.😂

I like the new sounds. Out of interest what are the occasional tinkly sleigh bell sounds that occur in cruise? Not unpleasant and very Christmassy.

Because they haven't pre announced the price I can tell that it will be high. Probably as much as a night out with the wife and a good meal. Hmmmm. Not a difficult decision. I'll be buying it.

I want to grumble but what's the point? Whatever the cost I'm going to buy it. And so, I expect, will every one else.
