May 2May 2 Hi, I've been following the threads about FSLTL. I'm not interested in accurate flight schedules, just traffic so my skies aren't empty. Can someone please help me with what to do? I do not want to use any other program. Do I still need to run the injector? I'm going to keep the models. When I installed it, it had me make two changes in settings. Do I need to change these? Will 2024 use the models? I'm not in the least interested in all the other traffic programs, I just want something so it's not empty. Thanks. Jack Jack Sawyer
May 2May 2 Hi Jack!! 😉 I'm using BATC now (using FSLTL models). BATC handles the injection. I think (if not running any other external AI addon) you need to run the FSLTL injector. From what I gather, the latest FSLTL gets around the Flightradar issue, so make sure you update.

Hi Adam, thanks. OK, so I need to run the injector, but what about the aircraft settings in the sim itself? What should I set them to? Jack Sawyer

May 2May 2 Hi Both I am using the FSLTS injector which only injects stationary aircraft now. For the time being, I decided to use the msfs2024 default live traffic (which seam to use the FSLTS liveries fine) However the default live traffic still do the strange things that the default traffic does. However at least they look nice as they are doing the strange things. The advantage of this is it is cost free, looks good The disadvantage is the moving traffic does the odd things MSFS traffic does. I hope this helps. Best wishes. Bob Edited May 2May 2 by rlaycock

May 2May 2 Hi Jack I got the information from the FSLTL discord site however I think it may be repeated somewhere on this forum This is copied from the discord site. Please Note This was posted before the new injector but I am using it with the new injector which basically has less options (It now has only options for static aircraft). Best wishes. Bob MSFS 2024 Settings > General > Online > Traffic Type > Real-Time Online MSFS 2024 Settings > General > Graphics > Global Rendering Quality > [Parked Aircraft Quantity is OFF, Parked Aircraft Variety is irrelevant, and the other two are as high as you prefer or your system can manage] FSLTL Toolbar Window > [the two “Parked” values should be as high as you prefer or your system can manage]

Much appreciated. However, before I read your post I had tested with these settings: Parked Aircraft Quantity - Med Parked Aircraft Variety - Ultra Aircraft Traffic Quantity - High Aircraft Traffic Variety - Ultra It looks awesome with these settings! But I'll set mine per your post. However, one question, I have a very new and very powerful PC which is only for 2024. With these settings why do the aircraft pop in only when I get close to them? Many thanks! Jack Sawyer

Are you running AutoFPS? If not, you really should! It will manage your Object LOD (OLOD) settings and give you greater control of how much detail shows at various altitudes. It will also give you a decent frame rate boost.
May 2May 2 Hi Jack I think if you have the msfs 2024 setting as you say (Parked Aircraft Quantity - Med) FSLTL and MSFS liveries will compete against each other which is why the discord Chanel recommends having MSFS 2024 parked aircraft off. I am not sure what happens to the MSFS aircraft dressed in the FSLTL liveried when the get to a parking space. Perhaps they just vanish? However I am getting moving and flying aircraft wearing the FSLTL liveries. Last night just after landing at NZWN I got a sounds air caravan landing on top of me. (As I noted above the MSFS default aircraft do look good in the FSLTL liveries but they are not the best behaved.) Sounds air is a local Kiwi company. The rest of NZWN was full of ANZ A320 and ATR aircraft which is appropriate for NZWN. Most were parked some where moving However my understanding is the aircraft moments etc will not be very accurate to real world schedules etc. Sorry I cant help with why the aircraft pop in only when you get close. I am not getting this best wishes. Bob

I’ve seen it mentioned for a long time. Thanks. Jack Sawyer

Yes sir, they do conflict. I set them to what you posted and now it’s good. I just have to try that auto fps app. Jack Sawyer

Will have to install it tomorrow as I'm worn out. But what is github anyway? Jack Sawyer
