April 3, 20215 yr I just finally installed WU3, set up a nice sight seeing route from Liverpool to an airport in northern Scotland w/ about 5 added waypoints of interest. Though the FP displays correctly in the MFD>Plan section the red route line is missing. I had rebooted after the update, and after this issue tried a flight in the USA and no problems there with the red route showing up. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks! April 3, 20215 yr Sometimes, MSFS does not like something in the flightplan and refuses to show the red line... Check the VFR map and see if it shows up there! Bert
April 3, 20215 yr Also, suggest using the WT G3000 for the TBM Edited April 3, 20215 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
April 3, 20215 yr Author Good to know thanks Bert I will try another departure airport. I did try a slightly different plan but both involved departure from Liverpool so maybe that's the issue I'll try some more cheers. April 3, 20215 yr It's been my experience that the "red line" does not show up on the map when the waypoint in the flight plan is a POI. When the next waypoint is a fix or airport, for example, you'll see the "red line". Also, fyi, if you enable the NAV hold function in the autopilot, the AP will follow your flight plan including the POI's in your flight plan. You just won't see the "red line" on your map. Try it and see if it works that way for you. Edited April 3, 20215 yr by BaronKen Ken
April 4, 20215 yr Author Ken, that is some useful info thanks I will set the FP up differently so as to avoid POI. Addendum: yep! That did it!
