Nice to see you've gotten Nvidia filters to work, but how did you do it? Did you update to the newest driver and filters have been fixed, or stumble on something else?

Well, I am accessing Avsim on my tablet as I do every morning with my coffee and breakfast and I'm getting the pop ups ad nauseum. Twice I've gotten big ads that completely cover the screen and require closure to continue. Please sort this out Avsim, it is destroying any possible hope of enjoying the web site if this continues.

I use Edge and like others here starting yesterday I am seeing many annoying ads; I believe it's an Avsim issue because going to other websites I frequent I don't see this. I hope this is a short lived "problem" and Avsim isn't suddenly allowing all of these ads to proliferate here. I may have to change browsers (which I would rather not do) or stop coming here, which I don't want to do either. The annoying ads are too much to take though, so I'll have to do something.

Usually options removed during a beta process are not put back because some users complain or are unhappy that said option has been done away with. I have no idea why the humidity slider has been removed, I'm simply stating I'm disappointed it's gone and the option to adjust it in the weather presets is no longer there. It's not likely to be put back in, and whether it's been taken out during a beta or a final release has nothing to do with it. Your rather strong reaction to my comment over this is a little surprising, you don't usually respond to posts with such vitriol. Sorry I seem to have upset you over this for some reason. I don't "wallow" over anything, just surprised and yes disappointed this is no longer a user option. No more comments from me over this...

Yeah, this one really got me. I don't like that I can't minimize haze when I want a nice clear view, and you could do this with the humidity slider from day one of 2020. Now you can't... I'd like an explanation on why this decision was made, but it's not likely to be given. Really, really disappointed in this.

Robert, I don't currently use any FS2020 aircraft but discovered very early that some of my 2020 scenery addons would only work if placed in the FS2024 community folder for some unknown reason. I would suggest just to try placing your aircraft in that folder and see if they show up in the sim. No guarantees but might be worth a try.

Go to the Global Shipping website, look for and click on the interactive map. You will be taken to a very detailed map that shows the locations and shipping routes of thousands of ships, including types. My advice would then be to plan some flights where you will be most likely to see these ships. I assure you, they are everywhere and are visible at night also.

I'm not sure what you mean by default air marshallers. I create my flight plans after selecting free flight on the main screen, and when selecting my arrival airport I choose a gate or parking spot at that airport for my destination. When arriving and taxiing in to my chosen gate or spot I always have a Marshall guiding me in waiting for me. If I were to select a destination or arrival airport instead of a gate or spot at my arrival airport I am not sure if a Marshall would greet me or not. I do know that with the flight plan method I use I always have a Marshall waiting for me. Hope this helps you!

Well, I am usually a very patient man, but Global 24 has been updated to version 1.3 (and a significant update it is) for quite a while now yet Tuesday has come and gone and it still sits at version 1.1 and the core files have not been updated to the latest version either. Now, I get that most of the team was probably off on extended vacation over the holidays, but that is over now. Let's get back on track with timely updates or you are seriously making me regret my choice to support the marketplace with my dollars.

I had noticed the lack of shipping routes in the southeast Alaska area when the announcement of Global 24 was made, but they have already rectified that drawback with the new v1.3 update. "New Traffic in Pacific Northwest – Alaska Marine Highway" -- this update fixes the lack of shipping in southeast Alaska and then some.

Yeah, this is a stellar and highly recommended add-on, but it's missing cruise ships, freighters, trawlers etc in the inside passage waterways of southeast Alaska. Makes me wonder if Seafront is working on an add-on for this area?

Ryan, thanks so much for these new liveries with dynamic registration. Love the all blue paint, reminds me of the 93SJ only now I can use my own registration. You're the best!

There are so many contributors here I absolutely enjoy reading when they post I would be remiss in trying to name them all because I'm sure I would forget someone, so here's a shout out to all of you "unnamed" posters. However, I absolutely must mention @Reset XPDR. His DynamicLOD program is a must have and I wouldn't be able to enjoy MSFS2024 the way I do and can on my "older" system without it. Plus, anytime I have had a question about it he is very prompt to reply to my queries. So, thanks Reset! May I also take this opportunity to wish everyone here the happiest of holidays, and may Santa grant your every wish!

I too am a big fan of the VisionJet, but I also prefer the FFX version. It handles great on the ground, takeoff and landings are very smooth, and the avionics just work. Would love to see more liveries with dynamic registration become available someday.

Looks like cruise ships and ferry lines might not be included in this package, and would be a serious omission if one is looking for a global solution to a shipping addon.

Nice video, thanks for sharing. My hometown... KSDF. Now, did you notice what is missing? That's right: no taxiway lights on the default KSDF airport. I have tried for 5 plus years to get this fixed, always falls on deaf ears. Go figure. I use Dreamteam's KSDF addon. Very nicely done and taxiway lights included.

Not a single airport worker met me at my parking spot on the flight I just completed with the newest update (.19); hope this is just an anomaly.
