The Asobo Vision Jet Is My Favorite GA-Jet in MSFS 2024

Featured Replies

Rock solid, from take off to touch down. Vnav works perfectly. No issues with the auto throttle. This thing just WORKS.

I love the "emergency land" feature (although it can take a few attempts to get it to work) but in all other areas I prefer the FlightFX VisionJet.

As a default plane the Asobo one is definitely up there though.

I too am a big fan of the VisionJet, but I also prefer the FFX version. It handles great on the ground, takeoff and landings are very smooth, and the avionics just work. Would love to see more liveries with dynamic registration become available someday.

It's certainly the easiest to fly.

the default one was made by FlightFX

Oh cool, I didn't know that.   It's not an exact duplicateversion though because, for example, the default version doesn't have autothrottle, where the FlightFX release one does.

No, the default one is an enhanced version. Which does have AT, btw...

I am not sure why some prefer the FFX version: the default one works more realistic, has quite a few (realistic) extra options and leaves out quite a few errors that FFX added. Imho the default version is far superior. So again: I do wonder why some prefer the FFX one...?

To give one genuine reason for me - the "FlightFX" one has the tablet which includes a feature that is very important to me; Headset simulation mode.   Definitely not included in the "Default" version (unless you break the immersion by going into the MSFS settings to set the MSFS headset mode on).

I'm not at the sim right now, but I am 95% sure the default version does not have at least the ATS mode switch near the throttle, for changing between manual and FMS autothrottle speeds.

It 100% does. I was just flying it yesterday.

I'll have to try it.  That said, I'm enjoying the default Longitude more and more.

Yes, I flew it last night also and immediately noticed I was wrong - it does also have the full A/T capability.     I stand wholly corrected.

I still prefer the FlightFX original version though, but only for the Headset noise cancellation feature.  If they would add that to the new 2024 version, it would be a 'no-brainer'.

Regarding FFX and MSFS2024 Vision Jet and upcoming FFX Honda Jet for MSFS2024, there is a great video comparing both in real life:

Shameless plug for a multi colored vision jet livery pack that I did...  I made it with the help of TimHH

These are all dynamic registration versions so you can write whatever on the fuselage

My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL |
| Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

It's such a clean, sterile and plastic looking aircraft, outside and especially inside. I'm very fond of it when I just want to click and forget and then watch the scenery go by as there is literally nothing to do, but I do wish it looked a bit more like a real pilot's aircraft.

Ryan, thanks so much for these new liveries with dynamic registration. Love the all blue paint, reminds me of the 93SJ only now I can use my own registration. You're the best!
